INTRODUCTION
Coulter Management Agency Ltd is an actors agency based in
Glasgow, trading since 1996. The Managing Director is myself, Anne
Coulter and I am very much involved with the everyday running of the
business. Prior to setting up the agency my early background was in
drama education and community arts followed by film and television
production as a PA, Production Manager, Continuity/Script
Supervisor. I worked with many first class producers such as (George
Lucas, David Putnam, Andrew Macdonald) directors (Bill Forsyth,
Michael Caton-Jones, Danny Boyle) and accomplished actors- too
numerous to mention- over the years. It was from this basis of
knowing many actors, producers, writers and directors and seeing
first hand what is actually required from cast that I decided to
represent actors. I decided on this change of direction after
completing work on the hugely successful film Trainspotting. The
company quickly flourished mainly through my extensive knowledge of
Scottish actors, industry contacts, word of mouth and
recommendations. I am a member of Bafta, Equity and the Personal
Managers Association.
This is not an all singing all dancing website -I’ll leave that
to my actors. It is merely a web presence to give you the contact
details that you may need.
I represent a group of highly talented individuals whom I have
selected very carefully, not only for their acting abilities but
also for their personal qualities. I consider my clients to be
enthusiastic, creative, collaborative and dedicated. They are hard
working professionals and usually great fun to be around ( even
after a 12 hour day, in fact, especially after a 12 hour filming
day, or when the curtain goes down and the drinks are finally
poured).
I have represented the majority of them for many years, most are
based in the Central belt of Scotland and some are based in the
London area. I do not represent supporting artistes or children.

We have an excellent reputation for honesty and integrity. This
is borne out by the number of major theatre and television companies
who come back to us again and again for clients.
AVAILABILITIES
Clients’ availability to attend auditions and/or be available
for rehearsal and production dates is a crucial factor in the
criteria of who might be suitable for your project.
If you know who you are interested in, please check their
availability as soon as possible and do pencil them for your dates
if you are at all keen to perhaps use them.
If however, you are open to suggestion and would like some ideas
please provide us with the overall dates, character briefs and/or
scripts and we will make appropriate suggestions.
Clients often travel to London for meetings.
